About Ma: I grew up with dogs from the time I was about 7 years old. I had various breeds; but then in 1978, just before I got out of the Air Force, I got my first Lab. I was hooked. She was the best dog I ever had, and despite the fact that I've had a lot of great Labs since her, there will never be another "Peanut." She wasn't my dog - she was my child, my companion, my confidant, and my best friend all rolled into one. Although I didn't start breeding until after she was gone, I credit her with being my foundation since she was the one who showed me that Labs are the best, most versatile, most loving breed in the world. |

About Pa: In 1987 shortly after I met Sue, she invited me to her house for what turned out to be a life altering experience. This was the girl of my dreams - loving, affectionate, smart, and what moves! I fell in love - with her black Lab, "Peanut." It was love at first sight; she grew on me instantly; and I'd never before felt love like that. I needed to be with her more and more, and eventually Sue and I married. She was mine, all mine. I was the main man in her life and she was my special girl. She was by my side until the end. I will never forget the love we had or our time together. I still can't look at Sue without thinking of Peanut. So, I can truly say, my wife has given me the best love of my life. |
